I’m an independent electronic audio engineer, musician and dreamer born in the 80s, grown up with a visceral passion for all things guitars and amps.

Mesmerised by guitar-golden-era biting riffs and huge solos, it didn’t take long before I was seduced by that 40s piece of technology that inspired my heroes, the holy grail of every guitarist: valves.

I had a clear idea of the tone I was chasing – preamp distortion, compact design and solid, lead sound “out of the box” – but that clashed with the usual clones of the classics. My vision couldn’t settle with bulky pedals and op-amp hybrids, and pushed me to research, experiment and test a multitude of solutions through the years.

In 2019 I moved to London, where I worked as an audio repair engineer. Exposed to a wider market, I had the opportunity to refine ideas, techniques, resources and finally craft my own products.

Hotburst overdrive is the first expression of that original vision, coming to light after years of dedication and tuning.
